Pleasant Surprise

This week was our first visit at our new doctor's office. The appointment was with our nurse practitioner, Jesse. She was fantastic! Friendly, willing to laugh with us, very knowledgeable, and wonderful at explaining everything.

Then....

we got to hear the baby's heartbeat!

We had no idea we'd get to experience that at this appointment. It was amazing. We were both smiling and giggling and "Holy Cow!"-ing. Little baby was "wooshwooshwooshing" away at 172 beats per minute.

What a wonderful moment we won't ever forget.

Oh, and Jesse has said she thinks we should have a girl. The first prediction. :)
